Sentura Terms of Service
Sentura — a service of Virtual Caffeine IO LLC
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of Sentura, an email-authentication monitoring and management service operated by Virtual Caffeine IO LLC ("VCIO," "we," "us"), a Washington limited liability company. By creating a Sentura account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you are accepting on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it, and "you" means that organization.
Virtual Caffeine IO LLC operates other products under other brands, each with its own separate terms; these Terms govern Sentura only.
1. The agreement
These Terms incorporate the Common Paper Cloud Service Agreement Standard Terms, Version 2.1 (the "Standard Terms"), available at commonpaper.com. Together, the Standard Terms and the business terms below form the agreement between VCIO (as Provider) and you (as Customer) for your use of Sentura. If there is a conflict, the business terms below control for Sentura.

2. What Sentura does — and your responsibilities
Sentura monitors and, where you enable managed records, serves DNS records on your behalf via delegation you create (for example, a CNAME from your domain to Sentura). You are responsible for:
- The accuracy of what you configure, including which domains you add and the DNS delegation you publish.
- Your own DNS. Sentura serves the records delegated to it; it does not control your DNS provider or records you host yourself.
- Reviewing recommendations before acting. Sentura provides analysis, verdicts, and recommendations (including recommendations to strengthen your DMARC policy). Advancing a domain to an enforcement policy such as quarantine or reject is always done with your explicit approval, and you are responsible for confirming your legitimate mail is properly authenticated before doing so.
Email authentication affects mail delivery. DMARC, SPF, and MTA-STS records influence how receiving providers treat your mail. Misconfiguration — including publishing an enforcement policy before your senders are aligned — can cause legitimate mail to be quarantined or rejected. Sentura is designed to guide you and to act only on your approval, but you are responsible for your domain's mail-authentication posture. See the disclaimers in Section 6.
3. Free tools
Sentura offers free public tools (for example, domain and email-authentication checkers). For these tools:
- Informational only; no warranty. Results are provided for general information, reflect data visible at the time of the check (such as public DNS records), and may be incomplete or delayed. They are not security, deliverability, legal, or compliance advice.
- Logging. We log tool submissions (input, timestamp, IP address) for abuse prevention and service improvement, as described in the Privacy Policy.
- Fair use. Check only domains you own, administer, or are authorized to assess. Automated, bulk, or scripted use, scraping of results, and use of the tools to probe or target third parties are prohibited. We may rate-limit, block, or discontinue the tools at any time.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to: use Sentura to monitor or manage domains you are not authorized to control; interfere with or disrupt the service; attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system, account, or data; probe or test the security of the service except with our prior written permission; or use the service in violation of law. We may suspend access for material breach, non-payment, or security risk, with notice where practicable.
5. Term, cancellation, offboarding, and inactivity
- Cancellation. You may cancel a paid plan at any time, effective at the end of the current Subscription Period.
- Offboarding — you can leave, and we help you leave safely. Because Sentura may be serving DNS records that affect your live mail, we provide a guided offboarding process: we help you take back your records (we hand you your current records to publish yourself), you remove the delegation to Sentura, and we confirm the delegation is removed before we tear down anything on our side. We do this to prevent an interruption to your mail. We do not lock you in — you own your data and configuration and can leave at any time.
- Data after you leave. After offboarding, we retain your data for 60 days and then delete it, as described in the Privacy Policy.
- Inactive free accounts. A free account showing no activity of any kind — no sign-in, no records served for you, and no reports received for your domains — for 90 days may be closed after notice. An account for which we are actively serving records or receiving reports is treated as active and is not closed for inactivity, even if you never sign in. Closing an inactive account never removes a DNS record we are actively serving on your behalf; live records are handled only through the offboarding process above.
6. Disclaimers
SENTURA AND THE FREE TOOLS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT IT WILL PREVENT ALL EMAIL-AUTHENTICATION FAILURES, SPOOFING, OR DELIVERABILITY ISSUES. You remain responsible for your domain's DNS and mail-authentication configuration.
7. Limitation of liability
The limitations and caps in the Standard Terms and in Section 1 above apply. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
8. Order of precedence; changes
- Precedence. If you and VCIO execute a mutually signed agreement or order form covering Sentura, that signed agreement supersedes these click-through Terms for your account.
- Changes. We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here and, where they affect account holders, noted by email or in-product notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
